have been chosen better – Washington Square Park in
downtown Manhattan. A place located in the city that never
sleeps and a spot where people from all over the world come
together to meet, mingle and fall in love.

Telling the story of crossroads – literally and metaphorically –
the PUMA TV commercial reflects the most fascinating
maelstrom of human interaction that can be found on earth.

The new Puma TV commercial is about crossroads, both literally and metaphorically. So first we chose New York, the city of all crossroads. The city where people from all over the world come and mingle, meet (or miss each other), all playing a role in the most fascinating maelstrom of human interaction that can be found on earth. Then, because of the simple, natural, non-committal spirit of the Puma brand, we chose Downtown (we actually shot at equal distance of the two New York Puma stores - the flagship SoHo store and the newly opened Puma Black store in the ultra-hip Meat Packing district). Finally, because of the very story of the spot, we chose Washington Square Park. It is no wonder that Washington Square Park plays such an essential role in the breathing and living of downtown Manhattan.Situated at the very heart of Downtown, it has been for centuries a place of gathering and exchange, flirtation and unexpected encounters. More people have fallen in love there than anywhere else in New York, and it still happens every day, on and off camera.
